‘I love him’: Carragher says 21-year-old Arsenal player simply ‘fantastic’

 


Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has raved about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka.

The former Liverpool defender has named Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka on Sky Sports as the Best Young Player in the Premier League this season.

The Sky Sports pundit has said that the 21-year-old has been fantastic for the Gunners this campaign.

Carragher made the comments about the England international on Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.

The pundit, though, believes that Norway international attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard has been the best player for Arsenal this season.

Carragher said about Saka: ”I love him. I think he has been fantastic. Odegaard has been Arsenal’s best player, I just did not pick Odegaard because he is too old – 24 seems too old to be the young player.”

  According to breaking news from the Daily Telegraph, Arsenal are on the brink of signing Declan Rice in what is an impossible-to-resist offer for all parties involved. The report claims that Stan Kroenke wants to make Declan Rice the joint highest earner at the club, alongside Bukayo Saka on £300,000 per week. Furthermore, the transfer fee could set Arsenal back around £92m, essentially impossible for West Ham to say no to. It’s big money, sure, but it’s not silly money. It’s not the type of silly fee that Arsenal threw at Nicolas Pepe some seasons ago – they actually need Declan Rice, and he’d make them challenge for the title again next season.
